MN Deer Hunting Licenses
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is now sold out of deer hunting licenses for the rest of the season.
Along with being licensed, hunters interested in tagging a buck from Cobb, Dakota, Leech Lake, Mille Lacs, Cassia, Clearwater or Sibley counties may need to get on a waiting list or get their permission to do so from the county.
With license sales dwindling over time, state officials have made two adjustments to increase participation in early rifle deer hunting. The first change was an initiative for hunters to have more time before they have to sign up for hunts.
